I found my car on AutoTrader and, from my initial enquiry through to the purchase, the experience with Elderwood Motors was absolutely fantastic. On the morning of my scheduled test drive, they called me to explain that their mechanic had noticed a knock coming from the engine and identified an issue with the clutch. Rather than leaving me to discover it myself, they proactively informed me and arranged for the clutch to be replaced at no additional cost to me. That level of honesty and customer service really stood out. There were a couple of minor discrepancies when I viewed the car, including it not having been serviced as advertised. However, this appeared to be an issue with the garage they had chosen to carry out the work, rather than Elderwood Motors themselves, and I wouldn't want to unfairly hold the dealership responsible for that and by the time of collection, it had been rectified. Overall, the buying experience was excellent. My previous experience with a car dealership hadn't been nearly as positive, so Elderwood Motors were a very welcome change. They have a great selection of vehicles at reasonable prices, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. I'm based in Oxfordshire, while they're in Norfolk, but the drive was absolutely worth it. If I'm looking for my next car in a few years' time, Elderwood Motors will definitely be on my list of dealerships to check first. **Highly recommended for their customer service, honesty and overall buying experience.**
